The Service uses a “plan + subscription slots” billing model (not credit packs). Your plan sets the maximum number of skill subscriptions that can be active at once; a “subscription” is your ongoing tracking relationship with a skill, not the recurring payment contract itself. Current public prices are on the pricing page.
- slot counts, list prices, and benefits for Free, Pro, and other tiers are as shown on the pricing page, checkout page, account page, and in-product notices (for example, the first version ships Free with 3 slots and Pro with 30; Pro bills monthly or yearly);
- each active skill subscription occupies one slot; skill suites exist for organization and discovery only and are never counted as one slot per suite;
- payment buys tracking capacity and access to the targets you pick — not a private, exclusive copy of the AI interpretation; a shared interpretation of the same public source state can be reused by multiple users;
- full interpretations sit behind sign-in and access-control boundaries; the existence of a shared interpretation does not give non-subscribers full-text access.
Checkout and recurring charges are handled by the payment provider (currently Waffo / Waffo Pancake). Sensitive payment data such as card numbers is handled by the provider under its own rules; our locally persisted plan state is the runtime authority, written only from trusted provider events (such as webhooks) and necessary reconciliation — never from a checkout success page or a client-side claim alone. By providing a payment method and upgrading to Pro, you expressly authorize us to charge that method for the selected billing interval; the authorization remains in effect until you cancel renewal or the plan no longer renews. Pro renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you have cancelled renewal.
Cancelling renewal means “no further renewal after the current paid period ends” — it does not forfeit the benefits of the period you already paid for, and it does not automatically create a refund. You can choose “stop renewal at period end” on the account page or email support@skillrss.com for help cancelling. To downgrade immediately to a lower plan, you must first reduce your active subscriptions to within the new limit. If, after a period-end downgrade, your subscription count still exceeds the Free limit, we may block new subscriptions but will not delete existing ones for you until you adjust them yourself.
Prices may change; for paid periods already in effect, changes generally apply from the next billing period, with reasonable advance notice (on the site or by email). Unless stated otherwise, the price shown at checkout governs; applicable taxes (if any) may be charged separately.
Refund Policy (subscription model)
The Free plan costs nothing and involves no refunds. Pro is a digital service with immediate access: benefits take effect as soon as payment is confirmed. Except for the cases below and where applicable law mandates otherwise, paid subscription fees are in principle non-refundable. Cancelling renewal is not itself a refund.
You may request a refund in the following cases:
- 7-day guarantee on first Pro purchase: if you request it within 7 days of the account's first successful Pro charge, and your active skill subscriptions at the time of the request do not exceed the Free limit (3), the current period's fee is refunded in full;
- duplicate charges: if a billing error charges the same payable period more than once, the duplicate portion is refunded in full;
- verified outage on our side: if a core paid capability is continuously unavailable for more than 72 hours due to causes on our side, you may receive a pro-rated refund for the affected days or an equivalent extension (we choose a reasonable method);
- statutory rights: where applicable law grants withdrawal or refund rights (for example, cooling-off periods for remote digital services in some jurisdictions), those rights are preserved within their mandatory scope.
The following are generally not refundable (statutory rights excepted):
- fees for billing periods already used (other than the refundable cases above);
- yearly Pro refund requests made more than 30 days after the initial purchase date;
- accounts restricted, suspended, or terminated for violating these Terms or the acceptable-use policy;
- access benefits already consumed, fees corresponding to periods when slots were occupied, or a unilateral change of mind that does not meet the 7-day guarantee conditions.
How to request: email support@skillrss.com from your registered address with: (1) the account email; (2) the payment transaction / order number (if any); (3) the charge time and amount; and (4) the reason and relevant details. We will confirm receipt and give a preliminary answer within 2 business days; approved refunds are returned to the original payment channel within 5–10 business days of confirmation. Arrival time may further depend on your card issuer or the payment provider.
Fees: we charge no handling fee for eligible refunds; whether the payment provider, bank, or card issuer charges anything is governed by their rules. If a refund is approved, Pro benefits may be terminated early or reverted to Free, and remaining days of the paid period no longer carry paid-tier benefits.
Billing disputes: if you believe a charge is wrong, please contact support@skillrss.com before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your bank. We commit to replying within 2 business days and resolving confirmed billing errors within 5 business days.
